Sofia Gamidova, ANP, is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of combined nursing and advanced practice experience across primary care, urgent care, rehabilitation, and sub-acute settings. She is known for her strong diagnostic skills, clinical judgment, and dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Sofia has extensive experience managing both acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, COPD, thyroid disorders, and arthritis. In addition, she is skilled in procedures such as suturing, wound care, joint injections, and preventive screenings. Her training also includes aesthetic medicine, hormone therapy, and advanced interventional procedures.

Throughout her career, Sofia has worked in diverse environments ranging from community health centers and urgent care facilities to rehabilitation centers and home visits for geriatric patients. This breadth of experience has shaped her holistic approach to care, with a focus on prevention, early detection, and empowering patients to take an active role in their health.

Fluent in English, Russian, and Turkish—and conversational in Spanish, Polish, Ukrainian, and Farsi—Sofia connects easily with patients from many cultural backgrounds. She has a special passion for serving multicultural and underserved communities, ensuring that all patients feel heard, respected, and cared for.

Sofia earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Adult Nurse Practitioner from the College of Staten Island, following her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pace University. She is proficient in multiple electronic health record systems, allowing her to streamline care and maintain efficiency in busy clinical settings.

When she is not working, Sofia enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
