Dr. Isabel Mora is a compassionate and experienced internal medicine physician; dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with a special focus on weight management, metabolic health, and chronic disease prevention.
She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. During her residency, she developed advanced clinical skills in both inpatient and outpatient care.
Dr. Mora brings a multicultural and inclusive approach to her practice, having worked with diverse patient populations including Hispanic, Asian, and Arabic communities. Her ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients from all backgrounds has made her a trusted and approachable physician.
Before her medical training, Dr. Mora worked as both a research and medical assistant in South Florida, building a strong foundation in patient care, maternal health, and clinical research. She is a co-author of several peer-reviewed studies published in journals such as Chest and The American Journal of Gastroenterology.
As a passionate advocate for wellness, Dr. Mora has led diabetes education initiatives, served on her residency’s wellness committee, and mentored fellow residents as part of the advisor committee. Her commitment to empowering patients through education and evidence-based care drives everything she does.
