Dr. Amanda Marino has returned to Nirvana Healthcare Management Services (NHMS) as the Lead Provider at Warren County Medical Associates in Hackettstown, NJ. With a longstanding dedication to patient-centered care, Dr. Marino is passionate about serving the Hackettstown community and building meaningful relationships with her patients and their families.
Dr. Marino originally joined NHMS in 2017 after completing her residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. During her initial tenure, she provided exceptional primary care services at Roseville Medical Society in Newark, supported by a team of forty professionals. Her return marks a new chapter in her career, bringing her wealth of experience and commitment to compassionate healthcare to Warren County.
Board-certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Marino holds additional certifications in Integrative Medicine from the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine and in Medical Acupuncture from Saint Joseph University Medical Center. She also maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Dr. Marino’s professional memberships include the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), and the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians (NJAFP). Her commitment to global health has led her to volunteer as a physician in Belize and Vietnam, where she brought care to underserved populations.
Fluent in Spanish, French, and Haitian Creole, Dr. Marino thrives in diverse clinical settings, connecting with patients from varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Her clinical expertise spans adult and geriatric primary care, with a special focus on women’s health. She is skilled in diagnostic testing, prenatal counseling, and contraceptive services, including IUD placement.
Dr. Marino describes her work as deeply enriching, particularly when it comes to fostering long-term relationships with her patients. She recalls a touching moment during the pandemic when a male patient asked her to pray for his hospitalized wife, who was intubated due to COVID-19. When his wife recovered, he called to share his joy, saying, “You are part of our family.” These moments underscore her belief in the importance of empathy and connection in healthcare.
