Rebecca Fiedler-Giordano, MSN, RN, A-GNP, is a skilled nurse practitioner joining us at Nirvana Healthcare. With eight years of experience in progressive care, she specializes in medical and surgical cardiac care, home-based primary care, gerontology, and clinic-based primary care. Her extensive qualifications include a NJ APN License, AGNP-BC certification, PCCN certification, AHA Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, along with an NIHSS Certification.
Rebecca holds a Master’s in Nursing from Seton Hall University, a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Drexel University, and an Associate’s in Nursing from Warren County Community College. She has been honored with a Nightingale Award nomination and is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Her professional journey includes roles at Morristown Medical Center and Saint Joseph’s Medical Center, where she provided post-operative and general cardiology care. As a Clinical Nurse Educator at Lutheran Medical Center, she conducted education sessions and assisted with skills fairs. She has also completed clinicals at Stout Street Clinic and Optum, Inc., gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Rebecca has served as a Stroke Champion and AOU UBC Chairperson, educating staff and facilitating unit improvements. She has precepted new graduates and hires, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to mentoring. Her contributions include participation in Seton Hall’s SAMHSA grant medication-assisted treatment program and the Cardiac and Vascular Care UBC Evidence-Based Project on harm reduction in intravenous drug users.
