Tae An Choi, RN, ANP, is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of clinical experience providing advanced cardiovascular, vascular, and venous care in outpatient medical settings. He is highly skilled in diagnosing and managing complex heart and vascular conditions and works collaboratively with physicians to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care focused on long-term health outcomes.

Mr. Choi specializes in the evaluation and treatment of chronic venous disease, including all stages of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI 0–6), deep vein thrombosis (DVT), post-thrombotic syndrome, and iliac vein compression syndrome (May-Thurner syndrome). He routinely performs office-based vein procedures, including radiofrequency ablation (RFA), endovenous laser therapy (EVLT), and Varithena, and assists with iliac vein stenting, angioplasty, and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS).

In addition to venous care, Mr. Choi manages a broad range of arterial and cardiovascular conditions, including peripheral arterial disease (PAD), abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), carotid artery disease, atrial fibrillation, arrhythmias, angina, congestive heart failure (CHF), coronary artery disease (CAD), and hypertension. He is experienced in pacemaker interrogation across multiple device platforms and monitors remote cardiac telemetry systems, supporting comprehensive cardiac care.

Mr. Choi is also a published medical contributor, with peer-reviewed articles focused on venous disease and iliac vein compression, reflecting his commitment to clinical excellence, continued learning, and the advancement of vascular medicine.


Mr. Choi earned his Master of Science in Adult Nurse Practitioner from Hunter College in New York, where he developed advanced clinical expertise in adult and cardiovascular care. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Binghamton University (SUNY), building a strong foundation in patient-centered nursing practice and clinical leadership.


Mr. Choi has spent more than a decade providing cardiovascular and vascular care in high-volume outpatient settings throughout New York. His clinical background includes cardiac and vascular consultations, management of complex venous and arterial diseases, performance of office-based procedures, and long-term monitoring of cardiac patients. He works closely with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care for each patient.


Mr. Choi is ANCC-certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and holds active licensure as both a Registered Nurse (RN) and Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP). He maintains current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, ensuring readiness to manage acute and complex cardiovascular conditions.


Mr. Choi is fluent in English and Korean and has professional working proficiency in Spanish, allowing him to provide culturally responsive care and clear communication to a diverse patient population.
