Adrian Sanchez is an accomplished Advanced Nurse Practitioner, whose career has spanned across diverse healthcare settings, marked by a steadfast dedication to providing exceptional care to patients. Adrian’s journey began at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson NJ, where they started as a registered nurse in 2010 and committed over a decade of service until 2021.
During their time at St. Joseph’s hospital, Adrian honed their skills in the Medical Intensive Care Unit, where they compassionately managed critically ill patients for five years. Following this, Adrian specialized in the field of vascular access, becoming a vital member of St. Joseph’s vascular access team, inserting Peripheral Insertion Central catheters (PICC) and peripheral intravenous access with the precision of ultrasound guidance, specifically for patients with challenging vasculature. Their role as a vascular access RN continued for approximately four years, demonstrating their commitment to the highest standards of patient care.
Adrian’s dedication to advancing their nursing career led them to pursue a Master’s degree from William Paterson University, to becoming an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Upon graduation, Adrian assumed the role of Bariatric Coordinator at St. Joseph’s Hospital, where they assessed and diagnosed obesity-related conditions, designed personalized treatment plans, educated patients, monitored their progress, and provided much-needed emotional support. Their leadership in this program was marked by excellence for one year.
In March of 2023, Adrian embarked on a new chapter, joining the esteemed team at Nirvana Healthcare as their Vein and Vascular Advanced Nurse Practitioner where they specialize in the comprehensive treatment of varicose and vein disease. This transition has been immensely rewarding, allowing Adrian to leverage their extensive knowledge, impeccable bedside manner, and rich experience to provide exceptional care to the patient population. Adrian’s goal at Nirvana Healthcare is to continue making a positive impact on patients by delivering high-quality care.
