Matthew Rehm has been with Nirvana Healthcare Management Services (NHMS) as Director of Finance since 2017. He is a graduate of the Anisfield School of Business, Ramapo College (Mahwah, NJ) with a BS in Accounting. He earned an MS in Healthcare Administration from Southern New Hampshire University (Manchester, NH). Prior business experience included brief tenures with Bederson & Company, LLP, and Minuteman Press.
As Director of Finance, Mr. Rehm manages all financial matters for the eight NHMS locations. His responsibilities include oversight of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR); payroll; creation of productivity reports for profit centers; contract negotiation; data analysis; and establishing and maintaining relationships with commercial lenders and other business partners.
Matthew describes his experience at NHMS as “engaging.” He enjoys the challenges of streamlining the operations of his department and enhancing communications, both individual and departmental. He is proud to be a member of an organization that has become, in his words, “an undeniable presence in the community.”
During the onslaught of Covid-19, Matthew was impressed and moved by the unanimous unwavering, front-line commitment of the NHMS staff. “There never was a question as to whether we should remain open. There was only one thing to do and that was to provide a haven of healthcare throughout the pandemic. I am inspired by the selflessness of my colleagues.”
